Ann’s father was a career Army soldier which meant she was raised as an “Army Brat,” moving every three to four years and attending ten schools before graduating high school in Okinawa, Japan.
Her family settled in Montgomery after her father retired and she began her career in federal service. She retired from Maxwell Air Force Base in 2005 where her last position was as a Public Affairs Officer. During her career at Maxwell she worked closely with the Montgomery Arts Council on several events and is very happy to again be associated with this outstanding organization.
She is divorced, enjoying retired life and appreciates being able to spend time with her two grandchildren who are now teenagers! She also enjoys working in her church and babysitting her two French bulldog “grandchildren” often.
